I have a barbecue to go to on Sunday, but because it’s a special celebration (Happy birthday, Dad!), I’ll have to wait to share the details of the food and gifts I’m bringing along. But rest assured, almost every scrap is going to be from our farm or local businesses. (You’re welcome, Dad!)
But here on the homestead, it’s obvious that I’m in the mood for some Mexican food:

Anaheims, anchos and jalepenos, gathered to cook one old favorite recipe and a few new ones, to be posted next week.

And yummy, bright and furry (in a good way) Colorado peaches from the farmers market. I’m thinking popsicles, yes no? Anyone know where I can score some BPA-free popsicle molds? Probably pushing my luck on that one, huh?
Anyway, I’m off to start the weekend now! Yes, it’s only noon on Friday. You got a problem with that?
