For 2012, Country Roots is offering a 6-week spring CSA ($150) and a 6-week fall CSA ($160), both available for pick up only on the farm in Pueblo. However, there are often Springs families looking to share pick-up duties.

Wellington, CO
Grant is the largest and most flexible CSA option in the state, with dozens of pick-up locations in the Pikes Peak area. They also have the most options, including veggie, fruit, egg, meat and mushroom shares, all offered in different sizes. The typical veggie share lasts about 25 weeks and cost $495-$840.

Fowler, CO
Running mid-May through October, Greenhorn Acres offers a half share ($325) or a full share ($500) of veggies as well as half and whole shares of fruit ($325/$500). They also offer convenient pick up at Ranch Foods Direct, 2901 N. El Paso St., on Wednesdays, though Ranch Foods will hold shares in their coolers until Saturday.

Javernick has offered a CSA program in past years that offered pint and peck shares, picked up at a residential location weekly. However, information for 2012 is not yet available.

Colorado Springs, CO
Always one of the most popular CSAs in the Pikes Peak Region, Venetucci offers shares and a “choice package,” where you use a weekly credit to buy the produce of your choice. However, shares for the 2012 season sold out before March 1. You can still sample their produce at the Colorado Farm and Art Markets through the summer.
